Tottenham have reported Manchester United and Liverpool to the Premier League for allegedly tapping up star strikers Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane.
In a sensational statement on the club's website Daniel Levey labelled the behaviour of both clubs 'disgraceful.'
Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed United have made a bid for Berbatov and is confident the deal will go through.
Levy held no punches in his response, calling his actions:
"A blatant example of sheer arrogance and interference with one of our players."
"It is also probably one of the worst offences by any manager in the Premier League to date and is unbelievably hypocritical given his recent comments in respect of Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid.
"This comes after a series of events, dating back to last summer, which have shown Manchester United to be in breach of Premier League rules."
"As a result, we have today made an official complaint to the Premier League about the conduct of Manchester United.
"Benitez made similar comments in respect of Robbie recently and we made an official complaint to the Premier League about the conduct of Liverpool earlier this week.
"The behaviour of both clubs has been disgraceful. We told both clubs very early on that we had no interest in selling Robbie or Dimitar, respectively, and that they should refrain from pursuing the player.
"Both clubs arrogantly chose to ignore this request and we now have evidence that both clubs have systematically been working to prise the players away from us, outside of Premier League rules of conduct.
Despite insisting the club do not want to sell the pair, he conceded Spurs' position has been comprimised:
"When a player's head is turned and their commitment is absent, particularly when they occupy key positions such as that of striker, they become a negative influence in a team dressing room in which they were once a positive addition and influence.
"This is the situation we now have on our hands, with both Dimitar and Robbie having made it clear that they wish to leave for Manchester Utd and Liverpool respectively.
Berbatov's desire to leave for Manchester United has long since been known by the Spurs' faithful, but Levy's admission that vice captain Keane wants to leave comes less than two months after the Irishman insisted he wanted to stay at Spurs.
He said: "I’m very content with my life and my time at Spurs. I want to play there as long as I’m happy and as long as I’m wanted."
In response to the allegations United published a statement:
"We are aware of the allegation and will co-operate with the Premier League as necessary."

TRANSFER UPDATE
If the newspapers are to be believed, Tottenham could lose all three of their strikers before the start of the season, with the Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United story refusing to go away, and the ineffective Darren Bent linked with moves to Everton or Sunderland.
But its the news that Liverpool are interested in vice captain and talisman Robbie Keane that has come as a shock to Spurs' fans - with Rafa Benitez apparently trying to use the funds raised through the sale of Peter Crouch to Portsmouth, and the imminent departure of Scott Carson to secure a deal for the Republic of Ireland captain and record goalscorer.
That would leave Spurs in desperate need to bring in new options up front, with Luis Garcia one of several players linked with a move. The signing of David Bentley to give Aaron Lennon competition for a right-wing berth seems likely to happen in the next few weeks, to go along with the signings of Croatian star Luka Modric, talented Mexican Giovanni Dos Santos and, subject to a work permit, former-PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.
Meanwhile a whole host of players, including Paul Robinson, Younnes Kaboul, Anthony Gardner, Pascal Chimbonda, Steed Malbranque and Kevin Prince Boateng could be offloaded as Juande Ramos looks to clear out the deadwood and raise funds for his own targets ahead of his first full season in charge.
The gut feeling among Spurs fans is that Keane will stay, although his Bulgarian strike partner probably won't. If Keane was to go, a high profile striker like Valencia's David Villa would help to reduce any backlash from the White Hart Lane faithful.
Whatever happens, it looks set to be a busy few weeks down at N17, and the squad could look very different come August 16th.

BARCA STARLET TO SIGN
Spurs are set to sign Barcelona wonderkid Giovanni Dos Santos, subject to agreeing on personal terms and passing a medical.
The 19 year old Mexican international made 28 appearances last season, grabbing a hat-trick in the final game of the season.
The highly-rated winger is the son of Brazilian international Zizinho, and could end Spurs' search for a left-sided midfield man.

TOTTENHAM 0 LIVERPOOL 2
Tottenham's league season ended in disappointing fashion as goals from Andriy Voronin and Fernando Torres secured a comfortable win for Liverpool.
Dimitar Berbatov, in what could be his last game for the club, came closest for Spurs in the first half when his header was saved by Pepe Reina.
Liverpool took the lead midway through the second half when Voronin finished after being played in by a Torres' flick on.
And Torres capped a fine first season in English football as he fired a superb individual effort past Radek Cerny.
Tottenham look set to rebuild their side over the summer as the aim to launch an assault on the Premier League top four next season.

READING 0 TOTTENHAM 1
Robbie Keane scored the only goal of the game as Tottenahm got their first win in six to push Reading into the bottom three.
Keane slide the ball past Marcus Hahnemann after he was playing through on goal by Darren Bent, making a rare start in place of Dimitar Berbatov.
Bent hit the post with an effort in the second half before Radek Cerny made two late saves, from Dave Kitson and Liam Rosenior to deny Reading a vital point.
Reading now go into their final game needing a result against Derby, and for Fulham to drop points at Portsmouth to ensure their survival in the Premier League for another season

TOTTENHAM 1 BOLTON 1
Tottenham's season continued to fizzle out with little more than a whimper as relegation threatened Bolton nicked a valuable point.
Spurs completing dominated the first half in front of new £15.8million signing Luka Modric in the stands, but not for the first time in recent weeks failed to take advantage of their dominance.
Bolton took a shock lead when Stelios bundled the ball home at the start of the second half.
But they couldn't hold on for a valuable win, as Spurs levelled matters just five minutes later. Robbie Keane's shot deflected to Steed Malbranque who finished from close range.
Dimitar Berbatov, who Juande Ramos admitted after the game could leave the club at the right price, should have secured three points for the home side, but he sent his late header over the bar.

WIGAN 1 TOTTENHAM 1
An early Dimitar Berbatov strike was cancelled out by Emile Heskey as Wigan shared the points with Tottenham to edge towards Premier League safety.
Berbatov opened the scoring after six minutes, finishing in style after a crosss from Aaron Lennon.
But Heskey drew the scores level in the 12th minute with an impressive turn and finish.
Marcus Bent hit the bar in the second half as Spurs were once again unable to produce a consistant performance over 90 minutes.

TOTTENHAM 1 MIDDLESBROUGH 1
Tottenham failed to capitalise on first-half dominance for the second game in a row, as Middlesbrough game from behind to claim a point at White Hart Lane.
Spurs created several chances in an impressive opening 45 minutes, and took the lead inside half an hour when Jonathon Grounds could only turn an Aaron Lennon cross into his own net.
Dimitar Berbatov and Jermaine Jenas were guilty of missing chances as Spurs once again failed to show the ability to kill of teams when they are on top.
And they were made to pay as Gareth Southgate's side improved in the second half, equalising when Stewart Downing's right-foot shot deflected off the head of Jena and past Radek Cerny.
And Boro could have grabbed the win with Alfonso Alves going close late on.

BLACKBURN 1 TOTTENHAM 1
Tottenham failed to capitalise on their first-half dominance, as Blackburn came back from a goal down to claim a 1-1 draw at Ewood Park.
Dimitar Berbatov put Spurs ahead in the seventh minute, tapping in from close range after a cross from Jermaine Jenas.
And Spurs, looking to forget the 4-1 defeat at the hands of Newcastle in their last outing, should have scored more in the first-half.
But Blackburn equalised after half an hour after the impressive David Bentley brilliantly set up Morten Gamst Pederson.
The second half failed to live up to the standards of the first, and Blackburn looked the most likely to win it.
David Bentley appeared to be obstructed by Brazilian full back Gilberto, although whether he could have got out of the way is a matter for debate.
But Peter Walton waved away the home side's appeal as both sides had to settle for a point.

TOTTENHAM 1 NEWCASTLE 4
Tottenham turned out a shocking second half performance as they were thrashed 4-1 by a resurgent Newcastle at White Hart Lane.
Darren Bent gave Spurs a first half lead when he expertly headed past Steve Harper from a Steed Malbranque cross.
But Newcastle grabbed a vital equaliser on the stroke of half time when Jonathon Woodgate failed to clear and the ball was teed up for Nicky Butt to level with a scuffed shot from the edge of the box.
And Spurs failed to come out in the second half.
Newcastle went in front just after the break when Geremi curled a free kick past the motionless Paul Robinson.
And a Mark Viduka stepover allowed Michael Owen to curl home a third as Spurs' defence capitulated.
Owen should have had another when he easily turned Michael Dawson but he put his shot over.
But Newcastle got their fourth when Obafemi Martin went through a calimitous home defence and slotted past Robinson.

TIME FOR THE ENGLISHMEN TO PROVE THEIR WORTH
Following today's newspaper reports that the likes of Paul Robinson, Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone, Jermaine Jenas, Aaron Lennon and Darren Bent could all be be shown the door in the summer by Juande Ramos the message is loud and clear - It is time for the English players to prove their worth to Tottenham.
Spurs have invested millions in young, English talent over the last few years, and it has certainly brought some success, as Spurs finished fifth in the last two season's and won their first trophy for nearly a decade this season, beating Chelsea in the Carling Cup final at Wembley.
However Spurs are now expected to push on to challenge the top four along with Everton next season, and Ramos is clearly not convinced this can be achieved through English talent. Paul Robinson and Michael Dawson both look set to leave after struggling for form this season, while Darren Bent has not been given a run in the team but has shown little to justify his record £16.5million transfer fee.
Tom Huddlestone and Jermaine Jenas are perhaps the most likely to stay - showing glimpses of the qualities they can offer to the team.Huddlestone is young and still learning his trade and should be given another season to develop. His range of passing is one of the best at the club but he needs to keep fit and work on improving his mobility.
For Jenas, it is time he showed in these final seven games of the season that he can consistantly fulfil the potential that he most definately has. A player who frustrates his own fans, Jenas works hard but needs to impose himself on games and dominate the midfield in a way he has been unable to so far in his White Hart Lane career.
And perhaps the most surprising target for Ramos's summer cull could be young winger Aaron Lennon. After signing from Leeds, Lennon exploded onto the scene in the 2005/2006 season when he filled in for the injured Wayne Routledge and made the right wing spot his own, embarassing defenders with his lightning pace and quick feet.
Lennon looked a revelation as he showed his skills on the world stage as a shock success story of the 2006 World Cup. But since then Lennon has struggled with knee injuries and has not yet seemed to regain that early confidence and swagger that came from playing without fear. His crossing is his biggest fault - there is no gain from skinning your opponent if you cannot deliver the ball into dangerous areas from the byline.
Ramos has admitted Lennon must work on his final ball - and he must use the rest of the season to show he can improve. More than anything he must show on the training ground a determination and dedication to become the player we all thought he would when he first broke onto the scene.
The press reports may suggest a brutal cull, but it is likely Ramos will use the rest of the season to make his final decisions about these young English players. The message has been sent out - it is time for them to deliver.

TOTTENHAM 2 PORTSMOUTH 0
A double substitution inspired Spurs as Darren Bent and Jamie O'Hara came off the bench to grab two late goals to beat Portsmouth.
With 10 minutes left Bent scored his seventh goal of the season, heading in after a mishit Dimitar Berbatov shot to bring up the century of goals at White Hart Lane this season.
And Bent then turned provider, laying on a tap-in for fellow sub O'Hara to wrap up the three points.
Former-Spurs midfielder Sean Davis could have given Pompey a first-half lead, but his chip was superbly saved by Paul Robinson.
And Michael Dawson hit a fierce drive that cannoned off David James' crossbar.
Both sides failed to put away their chances , until Juande Ramos' inspired double substitution in the 70th minute changed the course of the game.

TOTTENHAM 4 CHELSEA 4
Robbie Keane scored a dramatic late equaliser, as Tottenham came from behind three times to derail Chelsea's title hopes in an incredible eight-goal thriller.
Didier Drogba put Chelsea in front after only three minutes with his first goal since Chelsea were beaten by Spurs in the Carling Cup final.
And there were more reminders of the Wembley final when Jonathon Woodgate headed the equaliser from a Jeramine Jenas free-kick 10 minutes later.
The impressive Joe Cole then turned the game Chelsea's way, setting up Michael Essien to restore Chelsea's lead.
But his namesake Ashley caught everyone's attention for the wrong reasons, catching Alan Hutton just below the knee with a high, studs-up challenge just before half-time.
The crowd and Spurs' bench screamed for a red card, but referee Mike Riley pulled out only a yellow card.
And Cole petulantly turned his back to the refere - an act that encompasses the lack of respect for officials the FA are trying to stamp out.
The attention was back on Joe Cole early in the second half as his shot deflected in off the luckless Paul Robinson to make it 3-1.
It looked like game over.
But Spurs refused to lie down and pulled one back on the hour as Dimitar Berbatov headed past Carlo Cudicini.
And Tom Huddlestone sent White Hart Lane into raptures with a magnificent finish to bring the scores level after 75 minutes.
But Joe Cole, putting in a fantastic performance in front of watching England manager Fabio Capello, popped again to fire a fourth past Robinson with ten minutes remaining.
Just when it looked like Spurs were beaten, a long punt bounced off Ricardo Carvalho and fell at the feet of Robbie Keane after 88 minutes.
The Irishman has been widely criticised in the papers since his strop at being substituted against Man City.
But he showed why he should still be on the field in the final minutes, as he looked up and curled a fabulous right-footed shot into the top corner past Cudicini.
And Spurs could have dented Chelsea's title hopes even further in stoppage time, as Berbatov brilliantly worked space for himself in the box.
Only a world-class save from Cudicini ensured there was no winner, in a thoroughly good advert for the Premier League.

MANCHESTER CITY 2 TOTTENHAM 1
Two dreadful decisions by the officials cost Spurs as they threw away a first-half lead to lose at the City of Manchester Stadium.
Darren Bent thought he had scored a late leveler against Sven Goran Eriksson's Manchester City side only for the assistant referee to wrongly flag for offside.
Earlier Stephen Ireland had equalised for the home side, tapping in from close range after Elano headed towards goal. Replays shows he was in an offside position.
Spurs had taken the lead in the first half, Pascal Chimbonda supplying Robbie Keane who beat Joe Hart with a sublime finish.
But City improved in the second half and were probably the better side after Ireland's controversial goal made it 1-1.
And Nedum Onuoha kept Man City's European hopes alive with a powerful header past Paul Robinson.
Spurs pushed forward for a late goal and Bent thought he had grabbed his side a point, only for a linesman to wrongly deny Spurs.

RAMOS SET FOR WHOLESALE CHANGES
Juande Ramos is set to radically change his squad in the summer after Spurs UEFA Cup penalty exit at the hands of PSV Eindhoven.
Reports suggest the likes of Paul Robinson, Pascal Chimbonda, Aaron Lennon and Darren Bent could all be shipped out, while the future of star striker Dimitar Berbatov remains uncertain.
Surprising reports in the newspapers this weeks have suggested Lennon, who was left on the bench for the UEFA Cup tie in Eindhoven, could be shipped out after failing to reproduce his best form this season.
A reliable goalkeeper, a centre-back who can stay fit to cover Ledley King and Jonathon Woodgate, plus a central midfielder who can dictate the pace of a game must be key priorities, while fans calls for an natural left winger are set to continue.
And if Berbatov is persuaded to stay for another season, Ramos is likely to bring in a new striker of the callibre of David Villa after he sold Jermain Defoe to Portsmouth back in January.
If Ramos can hold on to Berbatov and build a team around him for next season, Spurs should have a great shot at grabbing a place in the top four and the Champions League.

PSV Eindhoven 0 Tottenham 1 (PSV win 6-5 on penalties)
Juande Ramos' hopes of lifting a third successive UEFA Cup were dashed despite a brave performance from his Tottenham side.
Spurs, trailing after the first leg at White Hart Lane, were the better side throughout and deservedly took the game into extra time with an breathtaking finish from Dimitar Berbatov.
Pascal Chimbonda produced an outstanding cross from the right, and Berbatov arrived late to volley the ball superbly past Heurelho Gomes in the PSV goal.
Jermaine Jenas had the chance to send Spurs through in the shootout but his tame effort was saved by Gomes.
And Chimbonda dragged Spurs' seventh spot-kick horribly wide to hand a quarter final spot to PSV.

Tottenham 4 West Ham 0
A Dimitar Berbatov double helped Spurs to bounce back after two defeats to inflict West Ham's third successive 4-0 drubbing.
West Ham could have got off to a perfect start when Paul Robinson - who seems to still be struggling to rediscover his confidence - parried a tame Freddie Ljungberg shot.
Dean Ashton, Luis Boa Morte and Bobby Zamora all failed to force the ball into the net in the scramble that followed.
The Hammers were left to rue the missed opportunity as Dimitar Berbatov lost Anton Ferdinand on two occasions from Tom Huddlestone free kicks to head Spurs into a 2-0 lead inside 11 minutes.
Spurs dominated from then on and West Ham's day got worse when Boa Morte was sent off for a second bookable offence just before half-time after a rash tackle on Aaron Lennon.
And Spurs added gloss to the score with two late goals from substitutes Gilberto and Darren Bent, to give them a vital confidence boost ahead of their trip to Eindhoven.

TOTTENHAM 0 PSV EINDHOVEN 1
Brazilian full back Gilberto had a nightmare debut as his mistake allowed Jefferson Farfan to give PSV a first leg lead ahead of the return trip to Eindhoven next week.
The left back conceded possesion when he tried to run his way out of trouble 25 yards from goal.
Peruvian striker Farfan intercepted the ball and fired a sublime finish past Paul Robinson.
It was one of several errors made my debutant Gilberto, who was also booked before being replaced by Jamie O'Hara at half-time.
And PSV could have finished the tie as a contest spurning several chances as Spurs went for broke in the second half.
Spurs had plenty of possession but struggled to create any clear-cut opportunities.
Juande Ramos had fielded a strong line-up including captain Ledley King and Carling Cup matchwinner Jonathon Woodgate returning to central defence.
But Spurs fell to only their third White Hart Lane defeat in European Competition, leaving Ramos' side needing an inspired performance in Eindhoven next week.

CRUNCH TIME FOR SPURS' SEASON
Spurs face Dutch table-toppers PSV Eindhoven tonight at White Hart Lane in a game that could determine the rest of their season.
After achieving European qualification for next season through their Carling Cup triumph over Chelsea, Spurs crashed back down to earth with a 4-1 defeat to Birmingham in the Premier League.
Sitting 11th in the table, Spurs have little to motivate themselves for the rest of the league campaign.
But a good performance tonight could leave Spurs odds on to reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup, and leave them fancying their chances of picking up another trophy in May.
Ledley King and Jonathon Woodgate, who were so impressive in that Carling Cup win, could return to strengthen the starting line up.
And Michael Dawson is back in training along with new signing Gilberto.
But Alan Hutton is ineligable having already played in Europe for Rangers this season.

BIRMINGHAM 4 TOTTENHAM 1
Spurs were brought down to earth with a bump following their Carling Cup triumph, as a Mikael Forssell hat-trick helped Birmingham to a 4-1 win.
Forssell headed the opener in the first half and Sebastien Larsson made it 2-0 early in the second half, curling a fine free kick past Paul Robinson.
Forssell then added two more against a lacklustre Spurs side who looked like they had enjoyed the aftermath of their Wembley win over Chelsea last weekend a little too much.
Substitute Jermaine Jenas came off the bench to get a late consolation but the game belonged to Birmingham, and to Forssell.

SHERINGHAM TO RETIRE
Teddy Sheringham has announced that he will retire from football at the end of the season.
The former England international, who is best remembered for spells at Spurs and Manchester United, is currently playing for Colchester in the Championship.
Sheringham won 51 England caps and played a key part in Manchester United's 1999 European Cup win, when he scored a late equaliser.
But Sherinham, 41, will be fondly remembered for two spells at White Hart Lane either side of his move to Old Trafford.

TOTTENHAM 2 CHELSEA 1
Spurs game from behind to beat Chelsea in extra time and win the Carling Cup at Wembley.
Jonathon Woodgate scored the winner three minutes into extra time.
Jermaine Jenas whipped in a free kick from the left, and Petr Cech could only punch the ball onto Woodgate's head and into the net.
Chelsea had taken the lead against the run of play in the first half, the returning Didier Drogba smashing a free kick past the poorly positioned Paul Robinson in the Tottenham goal.
But Spurs looked the better side throughout and deservedly equalised with 20 minutes left.
Wayne Bridge handled in the box and Dimitar Berbatov kept his cool, giving Cech the eyes and sending the ball into the bottom left hand corner.
After Woodgate's first goal for the club early in extra time, the England man and the returning, inspirational Spurs captain Ledly King stood firm to hold off Chelsea and seal Tottenham's first trophy for nearly a decade.

TOTTENHAM 1 SLAVIA PRAGUE 1 (Spurs win 3-3 on aggregate)
Tottenham produced a hesistant performance in front of their home fans as they scrapped through into the UEFA Cup last 16.
It started well for Spurs with youngster Jamie O'Hara firing in an early shot that deflected off Martin Latka to give them the lead in the seventh minute.
And as in Prague a week ago Spurs dominated the first half only to be pegged back in a below par second half performance.
Matej Krajcik lost Jamie O'Hara at the back post to score the equaliser early in the second half, and Slavia looked the better side as David Strihavka hit a shot against the post as they tried to take the game into extra time.
Milan Ivana then had a free-kick brilliantly saved by Paul Robinson, returning after 10 games out of the team, and putting in an impressive performance ahead of the Carling Cup final on Sunday.
Spurs held on in the final stages to book a tie with PSV Eindhoven in the last 16 as attention turns towards Wembley.

SLAVIA PRAGUE 1 TOTTENHAM 2
An error from Radek Cerny and some poor Tottenham finishing kept this UEFA Cup tie alive ahead of the second leg at White Hart Lane.
Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane both scored in the first half as Spurs looked to be strolling to a comfortable victory.
Tom Huddlestone hit the crossbar when played in by Berbatov and Spurs were made pay for their missed chances.
And the game turned in the 69th minute when Cerny failed to hold onto a David Hubacek cross.
The ball dropped on the line at the feet of David Strihavka who couldn't miss.
Erich Brabec then headed against the bar for Slavia as the home side found a new gear in the final stages.
But Spurs hung onto take a slender advantage into the second leg where they'll be expecting to secure a place in the last 16.

DERBY 0 TOTTENHAM 3
Tottenham recovered from a poor first half to fire three past Championship bound Derby.
Spurs took the lead when Roy Carroll failed to hang onto an effort from Steed Marlbranque, leaving goal gaping for Robbie Keane to score his 20th, and easiest, goal of the season so far.
Defender Younes Kaboul put the away side 2-0 up before Alan Stubbs handled the ball inside the area.
Dimitar Berbatov placed the penalty past Carroll to put a gloss on the scoreline.

TOTTENHAM 1 MAN UNITED 1
Carlos Tevez scored a last minute equaliser to rescue a point for United and deny an improving Tottenham side a rare win over the Premier League champions.
Spurs had taken a first half lead when Aaron Lennon, overlooked by Fabio Capello this week, beat Patrice Evra on the right and pulled the ball back for Dimitar Berbatov to finish.
Spurs new defensive recruits Jonathon Woodgate and in particular Alan Hutton, performed well to keep United at bay as Keane should have made the game safe when clean through only to shoot tamely at Van De Sar.
And Tevez nicked in ahead of Michael Dawson at the near post to score with the last kick of the game.

EVERTON 0 TOTTENHAM 0
Jonathon Woodgate made an impressive debut as Spurs kept a clean sheet and secured a point at Goodison.
Radek Cerny denied Andrew Johnson in both halves, while Robbie Keane was closest to scoring for Tottenham.
And Woodgate turned in a man of the match performance to show why Juande Ramos was prepared to splash out £7million on the former Real Madrid man.

MANCHESTER UNITED 3 TOTTENHAM 1
Man United moved into the fifth round of the FA Cup as Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to help them beat an improving Tottenham.
Aaron Lennon, finally looking like he is rediscovering his form, created the opener with a run and cross for Robbie Keane to tap home from close range after 24 minutes.
A poor header by Michael Dawson allowed Ryan Giggs to set up Carlos Tevez to bring the scores level at half time.
An open second half saw the lively Jermaine Jenas at the centre of Spurs attacking play, but the England midfielder wasted clear cut opportunities when clean through on goal.
And Spurs were made to pay for their missed chances when Michael Dawson was sent off for using his arm to palm the ball away from Wayne Rooney. Cristiano Ronaldo dispatched the ball past Radek Cerny in the Tottenham goal.
Ronaldo made the game safe for United late on when his low shot squirmed under the body of Cerny for his 25th goal of the season.

TOTTENHAM 5 ARSENAL 1 (SPURS WIN 6-2 ON AGGREGATE)
Tottenham will play in the Carling Cup final at Wembley after a sensational performance saw them beat local rivals Arsenal 5-1 at White Hart Lane.
Jermaine Jenas, who also scored in the first leg, fired a shot in off the post after just three minutes.
Nicolas Bendtner headed into his own net, while Dimitar Berbatov should have made the game safe before half time, his scuffed shot hitting the post when clean through on goal.
A fantastic Aaron Lennon through ball set up Keane to make it 3-0 before the England winger got on the scoresheet himself.
Substitute Emmanuel Adebayor pulled on back with a scorching shot from the edge of the box, but it was Spurs who had the last laugh as Malbranque tapped in a Jenas pass to complete the rout in stoppage time.

GILBERTO SET FOR SPURS
Brazilian international left back Gilberto appears to be on his way to Tottenham.
The Hertha Berlin full back's contract runs out in the summer, and he has been linked with a move to Manchester United.
But now it appears that Spurs are in pole position to sign the 31 year old.
Spurs have been struggling on the left with long term injuries to Gareth Bale and Benoit Assou-Ekotto.
Former Cardiff defender Chris Gunter has already signed for the club during the transfer window, while Stewart Downing has also been linked with a move to White Hart Lane.

TOTTENHAM 2 SUNDERLAND 0
Robbie Keane grabbed his 100th Tottenham goal to seal a 2-0 win over Sunderland at White Hart Lane.
The Irishman came on as late substitute for Jermain Defoe, who had been handed the captaincy for the day, and saw Craig Gordon fumble his tame shot into the net.
Aaron Lennon had opened the scoring from close range after just two minutes after some dreadful Sunderland defending.
Dimitar Berbatov should have added to Spurs lead during the first half, but Sunderland improved over the break and could have grabbed a point.
But Gordon's mistake enabled Robbie Keane to grab the headlines, and provide a much needed three points before the coming week's Cup games against Arsenal and Manchester United.

READING 0 TOTTENHAM 1
A Robbie Keane goal in the first half set up a fourth round FA Cup tie against Manchester United.
Keane finished from close range after Younes Kaboul had headed a Jermaine Jenas corner against the bar after 15 minutes.
Reading's best chance came when substitute Stephen Hunt hit the bar with a fierce shot.
Steed Malbranque came closest to added a second for Spurs, when his shot was tipped onto the bar by Adam Federici.
Spurs reward is a trip to Old Trafford in the next round.

CHELSEA 2 TOTTENHAM 0
A goal in each half from Juliano Belletti and Shaun Wright-Phillips delivered Chelsea a comfortable victory over London rivals Tottenham.
Former Barcelona defender Belletti opened the scoring with a superb strike past Radek Cerny after 19 minutes.
And the impressive Wright-Phillips made the game safe in the closing stages after good work from fellow England winger Joe Cole.
Nicolas Anelka, signed for Bolton for £15million, made his Chelsea debut from the bench in the second half.
Spurs have not beaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge for 18 years, and that run shows little sign of ending in the near future.

ARSENAL 1 TOTTENHAM 1
A late Theo Walcott goal denied Spurs a win over Arsenal in the Carling Cup semi final first leg at the Emirates Stadium.
Walcott equalised in the 79th minute when Young-Pyo Lee's tackled rebounded off him and into the net past Radek Cerny.
Jermaine Jenas had opened the scoring in the first half, tapping in a Robbie Keane lay off after the Irishman was sent clear by the sensational Dimitar Berbatov.
And Spurs should have won it won substitute Jermian Defoe missed a great chance just after coming on.
The result leaves the tie wide open ahead of the second leg at White Hart Lane.

ASTON VILLA 2 TOTTENHAM 1
Two goals from two Aston Villa centre backs secured a 2-1 victory over Tottenham.
An Ashley Young free kick was headed in by Olof Mellberg in the 40th minute to give Villa the lead.
But Spurs improved in the second half and Jermain Defoe - who was handed a start ahead of Robbie Keane - equalised with an acrobatic volley after a Dimiter Berbatov header in the 79th minute.
Spurs looked like they might go on to win it, but their vulnerability to set pieces was again evident when Jamie O'Hara was left marking Martin Laursen for a Gareth Barry corner in the 84th minute.
The Villa defender lost his man to head the winner past Paul Robinson.
An unhappy Gus Poyet suggested Spurs may have to consider big changes in the January transfer window.
