SLAVIA PRAGUE 1 TOTTENHAM 2

An error from Radek Cerny and some poor Tottenham finishing kept this UEFA Cup tie alive ahead of the second leg at White Hart Lane.

Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane both scored in the first half as Spurs looked to be strolling to a comfortable victory.

Tom Huddlestone hit the crossbar when played in by Berbatov and Spurs were made pay for their missed chances.

And the game turned in the 69th minute when Cerny failed to hold onto a David Hubacek cross.

The ball dropped on the line at the feet of David Strihavka who couldn't miss.

Erich Brabec then headed against the bar for Slavia as the home side found a new gear in the final stages.

But Spurs hung onto take a slender advantage into the second leg where they'll be expecting to secure a place in the last 16.
